It's time to carve some pumpkins!

Hehehehehe! We have only 4 days left until Halloween, so we have to prepare. It's time to carve some pumpkins!!!
 Let's get started!
       1. Cut open the top of a pumpkin and clean out the inside. Scrape the inside surface with a big spoon until it's smooth.
        2. Tape a pattern to the side of the pumpkin. Then trace the designs on with a pen.
        3. Remove the pattern, then carefully carve along the drawn lines.

        4. After your pumpkin is carved it is time to display it outside and light a candle in it so that you'll grt that spooky, flickering quality that is best on Halloween.

Floral Fun For Fall

Who says flowers only grow in the spring and summer time? Floral prints are cute and feminine for any female at any age and, in any season. Floral items can be dressy to casual to elegant wear depending on how it is worn. You can use the floral prints on clothes or accessories. Accessories are decorative items that supplement and complement clothes. They can add color, style and class to an outfit, and create a certain look. This is what I came up with:
I'm a hat person! I really love this little hat!
It's so cute!!!
Floral print babydoll top
Flower ring
Flower bracelet
Floral print necklace
Floral print blazer
Flower earrings
Floral print skirt
Floral print silk scarf
Rose earrings

So small but so effective little flower.

Funny project for Halloween

I know that there is only one week until Halloween, so I decided to make a decoration for this occasion. Make your neighbors smile with the best outdoor Halloween decoration. I made this today and I had a great time. This project is very funny, easy and most importantly handmade. I used only things I had at home, so this is also a very cheap craft. I really enjoyed doing this! I hope you like it!

DIY Fall Wreath

Make your own fall wreath! It's an easy craft project. I made this autumn wreath yesterday to add a touch of the season to my entryway. Actually, this doesn't have to be a fall wreath, but is it fall now, and these colors work so well. This is what I came up with:

I love the colors and coziness of it. Now it’s hanging by our front door!

Why is autumn so special for me?

Autumn is my favorite season! There is a lot to like about fall.  I think it is a beautiful time of a year . . .  The days have cooled down, the leaves are changing colors and the world is busy preparing itself for winter. There's something magical about this days, the first smell of the wood in the fireplace, the first frost, the pumpkin. School has started, and there's newness in the air.
Autumn brings lots of changes. The trees begin to change colors, bringing a beautiful array of different colored foliage, which eventually drop off into our yards. I just like working outside in my yard maybe putting up Halloween decorations with a cool breeze and a light jacket.  It is a good time to bake and cook inside. I love the smell of apples baking in the oven.  It’s great to be able to open all the windows in the house and let lots of cool, fresh air inside. Packing summer clothes. Unpacking the winter ones. I like to unpack my favorite snuggly sweaters, thick warm socks, jackets,  boots and warm shoes.

It’s time for the cozy pajamas, fluffy slippers, hot teas and great books. The shorter days and longer nights force us to be home earlier, and more often. It’s time for more cuddling, more good feelings and sharing pleasant moments with the loved ones, with laughter and love.

Go for a walk and take in the clean, crisp autumn air. Enjoy the sound of leaves crinkling and crackling underneath your shoes.

Buy roasted chestnuts from a street vendor.
Collect golden autumn leaves and use them to decorate your dinner table, windowsills, or any other surface you choose. Also, make a bouquet of autumn leaves.
It’s time for spending  more time with family and friends and be thankful for the good things in life. Like when you are in the arms of your boyfriend and you feel totally safe and then he kisses you on the forehead . . . that's a special feeling!
I also think of autumn as a time of new beginnings. The frivolity of summer is over, and it’s time to get serious, to make new plans and to accomplish bigger and better things than you did last year. It’s a very optimistic time for me!

Those are the things I think of when I think of fall. Have a lovely fall day!
